Either someone took over the Fox News editorial room at gunpoint and forced them to print this, or Fox News may have just run one of its only non-partisan stories on a political topic in God-knows-how-long--but either way, the Fox review of Moore's film Fahrenheit 9/11 is positively glowing. An excerpt:
But once "F9/11" gets to audiences beyond screenings, it won't be dependent on celebrities for approbation. It turns out to be a really brilliant piece of work, and a film that members of all political parties should see without fail.Or there's a third possibility, I suppose: that Moore's film is really so fantastically good that even partisan Republicans can't help but love it.
Except Bill O'Reilly, of course. But then O'Reilly is an idiot, even by Republican standards.
According to Al Franken (via Tom Tomorrow), at the recent NYC premiere of the F9/11, O'Reilly only lasted a quarter of the way through the film. Too bad; it's exactly bloviating wingnuts like him who need to see it.

That's too bad; I would have liked to have seen the offending post. But then, no use getting my blood pressure up for no reason. Plenty more other ways to do THAT!
Check this out...
Bush Rage
(look for the second segment, after the one about marriage)
By Richard Morin, Washington Post, June 13, 2004
(was in the June 16th Daily Yomiuri also)
Look for this beginning paragraph...
"First there was Road Rage. Now researchers claim to have identified another type of emotionalism that threatens to make life unpleasant for at least some of us."

Oh, just realized... I hope job above wasn't insulting YOU, Luis. A wingnut on the loose, if so. Ah yes, the world's dangerous, dangerous place...
CARDINAL XIMINEZ: Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency... Our three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency... and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope... Our four...no... Amongst our weapons... Amongst our weaponry... are such elements as fear, surprise... I'll come in again.

Ron: it wasn't obscene or anything, just an insult, with no content other than that. And no, it was not aimed at me, nor did I see your post as being so. Not to worry.
The Bush Rage article is very interesting--in liberals, the reaction is probably due to anger and pent-up frustration with Bush, in conservatives, maybe due to Bush's example of hateful rhetoric, warlike tendencies and absolute vindictiveness.
At least we've found one area where Bush is a uniter, no a divider--he makes everyone have feelings of violence.
Swell.
