By the way, Michael Moore has a new book coming out this week: Dude, Where's My Country? It looks at the entire debacle that is the Bush administration, from Dubya's business ties with bin Laden to the Patriot Act; Moore says that the book attempts to demonstrate how the leak of the CIA agent married to Ambassador Wilson for the purpose of political retribution is "just the tip of the iceberg."

This is all in advance of Moore's next movie, entitled "Fahrenheit 911," scheduled to come out before the 2004 election. Moore says that "The primary thrust of the new film is what has happened to the country since September 11 and how the Bush administration used this tragic event to push its agenda. It certainly does deal with the Bush and bin Laden ties. It asks a number of questions that I don't have the answers to yet, but which I intend to find out."

Despite attempts to smear Moore in the media, he remains highly popular, and is already #4 on the Amazon bestseller's list, despite not being released yet.

A good article on the film is here. You can order the book from Amazon U.S.A. here; for those in Japan, Amazon.co.jp also carries it.

UPDATE: In the last hour, Moore's book has jumped to #2 on Amazon's list!

UPDATE: And now, predictably, it is #1.
